Amazon have been leading the Smart-Speaker race for some time now and they’ve just taken a step closer to dominance by enabling one of Google Homes’ best features: voice recognition.
The tech giant has just released an upd
ate to its Alexa-enabled devices that adds the ability to recognize multiple voices. This means that your personal assistant can now access different profiles, settings and Flash Briefings automatically – all you have to do is talk! So, having multiple-users on one device is a piece of digital cake.
Currently, the feature will work with shopping, music, Alexa-to-Alexa calling and Flash Briefings but more updates are expected in the near future.
Google devices have had this capability since April but now Alexa is up to speed it can only help them increase their already impressive market share.
